King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed here today an agreement with the Al-Basar International Charitable Foundation to implement a number of medical campaigns in the field of preventing blindness and diseases causing it in five countries, benefiting 150,000 people. The agreement was co-signed by KSrelief Assistant General Supervisor for Planning and Development Dr. Aqeel bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi and Secretary General of the Al-Basar Foundation Dr. Adel bin Abdulaziz Al-Rashoud. Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi explained that the Saudi volunteers and doctors will implement 30 medical campaigns and nearly 12,000 surgeries in Yemen, Sudan, Pakistan, Nigeria and Bangladesh. He added that these medical campaigns come within the volunteer programs funded and implemented by the KSrelief in many needy countries, in order to achieve the Kingdom Vision 2030 through supporting the volunteer work.
