Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Mu'amar Al-Eryani has warned of escalating Houthi militia terrorist attacks in the Red Sea region. In a statement reported by Yemen News Agency (SABA) today, Al-Eryani said that the Houthi militia attacks using bombed boats in the Red Sea, and though usually successfully intercepted by the coalition forces, reconfirm the huge danger still posed by the Houthi militia against security and safety of trade ships and marine navigation in one of the most important waterways of the world. He pointed out that the militia uses Hodeida, Salif and Ras Isa ports as bases for launching terrorist attacks by booby-trapped boats in contradiction of Sweden Agreement and, at the same time, in implementation of Iranian agenda of spreading chaos and terrorism in the region. Al-Eryani called upon the international community, the UN, permanent member states of Security Council and UN and US envoys to Yemen to denounce these attacks and take serious action against such terrorist acts, which do not target Yemen's security and stability alone but also international security and peace and world's interests.
