The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) yesterday concluded its participation in the Arabian Travel Market 2021, in its twenty-eighth edition, within the Kingdom's pavilion, which was set up by the Saudi Tourism Authority and hosted by the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center during the period from May 16 to the 19 under the slogan "The setting of a new dawn for travel and tourism." GACA's participation in this important gathering comes to highlight the achievements made at the level of civil aviation, the mega projects that GACA has accomplished and which it is currently undertaking. Furthermore, the future projects to develop airports, and to confirm the excellence of civil aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the expansion in the region from the establishment and development of airports to acquire its share of the aviation market. This in addition to meeting directly with various relevant authorities. Meanwhile, by participating in the exhibition that deals with travel, tourism and tourism investment, GACA aims to highlight the Authority's efforts in contributing to raise the performance levels in the civil aviation sector, and to provide the opportunity to confirm the vital role that GACA plays in the aviation industry in the region and the world. This in addition to strengthening strategic relations between the concerned authorities in the aviation sector and specialists in the global travel and tourism industry in general, in addition to introducing visitors from all countries of the world to GACA's efforts in the Kingdom. It is indicated that the Kingdom's participation represented by the Saudi Tourism Authority comes with the aim of introducing specialists in the Arab and international travel and tourism sector to the development steps that the Saudi tourism industry is witnessing and the major projects at the present time, with great support from the Kingdom's leadership, and the implementation of its comprehensive national vision, towards paying attention to this industry on which it depends. Furthermore, it's a good way to learn about advanced international experiences in the tourism sector, and to consider simulating the distinguished ones, according to what suits the Saudi market, as this annual exhibition is one of the most important international gatherings specialized in tourism affairs through the intense presence of its activities and following up on the new in it. It's worth noting, that the Arabian Travel Market 2021 exhibition, in its twenty-eighth edition, aims to present new investment opportunities in the fields of tourism development through the exhibition accompanying the forum, and to establish partnerships between local companies and visiting foreign companies to support and develop the infrastructure of the tourism sector, in addition to encouraging and stimulating new investment initiatives.
