The work team of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Programme for Yemen (SDRPY) has continued to follow up the works of the supervisory and control committee that was formed by the Yemeni government to distribute the oil derivatives to the power stations in Yemen. The team conducted a number of inspection visits to a number of power stations in order to follow up the readiness and procedures for receiving the stations' share of the Saudi oil derivatives grant. The visits also included a group of the SDRPY's projects - under implementation - in Aden Governorate, including the rehabilitation project of Aden General Hospital, in order to be reopening during the current year; the lighting project of Caltex and Al-Haswa Road with the solar power, and the rehabilitation project of the Martyr Ali Asaad Muthanna Sports Hall. It is worth mentioning that the SDRPY's projects in various Yemeni governorates are 198 development projects and initiatives in order to meet the needs of the Yemeni people in seven basic sectors, including education, health, water, transportation, agriculture, fisheries, and building the capacities of government institutions.
