The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has concluded the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Iftar (Breaking-fast) and Dates Distribution Programs, in coordination with Saudi embassies and through religious attachés offices in 24 countries this year. The Ministry distributed 88,400 food baskets and 10,300 Iftar meals, benefiting 1,140,000 people in various countries. It also distributed 200 tons of dates, according to health procedures approved in the countries hosting the two programs. Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his continuous support for the Ministry's various activities and programs to serve Islam and Muslims in different fields, especially those related to the holy month of Ramadan each year.
