Official Source: Three Assailants killed in U.S. Consulate Attack

Members of the deviant group threw explosives at the gate of the U.S. Consulate in Jeddah at 11:00 am Monday, Dec 6, 2004, and then entered the Consulate, said an official source at the Interior Ministry.
The security forces immediately took action, and they were able to bring the situation under control.
Three of the assailants were killed and two others were arrested after being wounded, and the concerned authorities have been following up the incident.
A supplementary statement will be released in this respect later.
