Speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi reiterated that the Arab Parliament has various strategies to support joint Arab action and at the parliamentary level in particular, within a clear diplomatic framework that adopts Arab issues and places them in the right framework when presented at international forums. This came in Al-Asoumi's participation at the conclusion of the first applied diploma work organized virtually by the Arab Parliamentary Diplomacy Center of the Arab Parliament over the past two months. The Arab Parliament's Speaker explained that the Arab countries have been targeted in many files and in the forefront of which is the human rights issue, which has triggered the Arab Parliament to move towards developing effective visions in supporting the Arab issues in all forums and at all levels, stressing that the human rights file in the Arab countries enjoys the attention of the Arab Parliament which rejects using this file as an excuse to interfere in the internal affairs of Arab countries or for political blackmail. He pointed out that the Arab Parliament is constructively cooperating with the Inter-Parliamentary Union to support the human rights and women's empowerment files as well as the improvement of performance in the Arab Parliament.
