India and Pakistan reached an agreement in principle Friday to reopen a railroad link between the rival countries in the latest sign of warming relations. "Both sides agreed to an early resumption of the link," the two sides said in a joint statement. Another meeting will be held at an unspecified date in New Delhi to finalize details, they said, and both sides will start working on laying tracks and setting up related infrastructure. The discussions over resuming the Khokrapar-Munabao link are part of a new round of peace talks between the two countries. Foreign ministry officials from India and Pakistan are to meet Dec. 27-28 for discussions over Kashmir and other issues.
