An SR250 million five-star hotel is coming up in the Kingdom's eastern city of Alkhobar shortly. Businessman Sheikh Mansour bin Manie' Juma signed an agreement on Monday with Mohamed A. El Khereiji, chairman of International Center for Commerce & Contracting, to implement the project. The Alkhobar Movenpick hotel will have magnificent suites and rooms in addition to a number of villas and restaurants, a large wedding hall that can accommodate 1,800 people, a sports club and housing for workers. The project is scheduled to be completed within 26 months, according to a press statement published today. The 14-floor hotel will have 165 rooms and suites in addition to royal suites and six villas.
