The Union of the Comoros has welcomed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's initiative to end the Yemeni crisis. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Comoros confirmed that this step represents Saudi Arabia's permanent keenness to promote security and stability in Yemen within the framework of reaching a comprehensive political solution through a number of proposals, including a comprehensive ceasefire, reopening of Sanaa International Airport and the start of consultations between Yemeni parties. The Ministry highly valued this wise political initiative, as it looks forward to all Yemeni parties' responding to this opportunity and giving priority to the interest of the Yemeni people, stopping the bloodshed and addressing humanitarian and economic conditions in Yemen.
