Oil exports from Iraq's southern ports were back to normal Monday after sabotage damaged the country's main pipeline in the south. The line, which connects the southern Rumailah fields with the Basra port, was broken Saturday, causing a major oil leak. The pipeline caught fire Sunday during repair work. "Oil exports through Basra and al-Omaia ports returned to its normal levels this morning after the completion of maintenance operations," said Samir Jassim, a spokesman in the Southern Oil Company. He said oil was being pumped at a rate of about two million barrels a day.
