Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development's (HRSD) Labor Reform Initiative that aims to enhance the contractual relationship between workers and employers, is not the only decision that stimulates the Saudi market to be an attractive environment for expatriates, foreign companies and national cadres. The newspaper added that the new reform initiative, which comes into force from today, March 14, has many advantages that make the Saudi cadre welcome in all companies that will seek to attract them according to the new mechanisms. The HRSD is keen to provide job opportunities for the national cadres, taking into account the developments of the labor market in order to make it an attractive environment for investors, the newspaper added. Okaz newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its relentless efforts to develop in all fields. In this regard, the aircraft of the Royal Saudi Air Force taking part in Falcon Eye 1 drill maneuvers, set to be carried out during this month, arrived with its full air, technical and backing up crews in Souda Airbase, at the Greek island of Crete. The Saudi Air Force and its Greek counterpart will conduct air sorties and joint exercises in the sky of the Mediterranean Sea with the aim of promoting the skills of the air and technical crews, raising the combat readiness of our air force, in addition to exchanging the military experience in the field of carrying out and planning the air operations. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that Saudi Arabia is keen to develop its capabilities. Saudi Arabia's interest in science and technology has been evident during the past decades. Moreover, the Saudi Vision 2030 has focused on the development of scientific research and innovation. In this regard, the newspaper pointed to the Cabinet's forming of a committee to be named (The Supreme Committee for Research, Development and Innovation), affiliating to the Council of Economic Affairs and Development , headed by the Chairman of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development, and is in charge of the development of the research, development and innovation sector of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Major countries have focused on scientific innovation and achieved most of their objectives through it, the newspaper concluded. In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the sustained efforts exerted by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, in order to protect the human soul from the new Coronavirus pandemic, including providing vaccines for everyone for free, reflect one of Saudi Arabia's approaches that makes protecting people and preserving their rights above considerations. The Ministry of Health announcement that over 130,000 Covid vaccine doses were administered on Thursday, the highest daily rate since the launch of the National Program for the Coronavirus Vaccine, confirms the Ministry's readiness and integration of preparations as well as the people's willingness to receive the vaccine. These numbers also come after the Ministry's announcement about the expansion of the vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus (COVID-19), in addition to its inauguration of more vaccination centers in the various regions of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia, whose number exceeded 500 centers.
