President of Chad Idriss Dibi has lauded the efforts exerted by the N'djamena-based King Faisal University, which was founded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in promoting cultural, scientific and social development in the central African country. In a key address at the opening ceremony of the International Symposium on the Impact of Arab and Islamic Education on Development in Africa, organized by King Faisal University in cooperation with the Makkah-based Islamic Universities League, President Dibi, said in a speech read on his behalf by Prime Minister of Chad Musa Faqi Mohammed, that the Makkah-based Muslim World League has extended valuable support for the activities of the university, making it a pioneering university in Chad in particular and in Africa in general. He expressed hope that the symposium would reach important recommendations and decisions that would contribute to activating the religious programs and Arabic language promotion in university education in Chad, as per the country's constitution.
