The Chairman of Saudi Chambers Council Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan has affirmed that the council works to strengthen economic partnerships locally and internationally, in particular Saudi-Malaysian economic relations due to the cultural convergence and cultural depth between the two countries. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Chairman of Saudi Chambers Council said, "We are working in the Council of Saudi Chambers, through the Saudi-Malaysian Business Council, on enhancing trade and investment cooperation, especially stimulating medium and small enterprises and incubating innovators and entrepreneurs." He pointed to the importance of activating commercial channels, such as exchanging visits under the umbrella of the Business Council, holding joint meetings between the two countries and holding Saudi-Malaysian business forums alongside with meetings of the joint committee. He explained that developing economic ties and trade negotiations is one of the most important ways to solve challenges facing investors in both countries. This method will enable the government and private sectors to benefit from business and investment opportunities, while focusing on transferring knowledge between the two countries in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The Chairman of Saudi Chambers Council indicated that Saudi-Malaysian Business Council worked during its previous three sessions on activating the Saudi-Malaysian investment partnership through a number of economic outputs, including the signing of two memorandums of understanding between the Council of Saudi Chambers and the Malaysian Friendship Association. The first is for the visits of trade delegations, while the second to establish a joint business council.
