Secretary General of Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) Dr Abdullah Al-Turki met here on Friday with officials of the Islamic organizations, Islamic callers and Imams of mosques in Chad. The open meeting was organized by the office of the Islamic Call at the Saudi Embassy in Anjimina. Addressing the meeting, Dr Al-Turki urged the Islamic callers to close their ranks, and warned them against dispute and disunity. 'Disunity among the Islamic callers will enable enemies of Islam to defame Islam and Muslims', he said. He noted that Islam is the religion of moderation, and said Islam should be preached in a wise and reasonable manner. On his part, the Islamic Call Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Anjimina Sheikh Ahmad bin Abdullah Al-Hazimi underscored the importance of cooperation with MWL and other Islamic organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting was attended by Saudi ambassador to Chad Khalid bin Abdullah Mufti and Secretary General of the International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) Dr Adnan Khalil Basha.
