Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), will hold on Wednesday a workshop titled "The Internet of Things, Boosting Economies and Serving Societies". The two key speakers will be Governor of the CITC Mohammed Al-Tamimi and Director of ITU Telecommunication Standardization Bureau Chaesub Lee. The workshop will cover number of topics including the Internet of Things (IoT) for realization of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, leveraging the IoT to empower digital vibrant societies and achieve sustainable development, in addition to the impact of IoT on digital transformation.
