Deputy Defense Minister Receives UN Secretary General's Special Envoy to Yemen, US Envoy for Yemen

Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense received here today the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths and the US Envoy for Yemen, Timothy Lenderking.
During the joint meeting, they discussed the developments in Yemen, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's firm position in support of the Yemeni people and the efforts exerted to reach a comprehensive political solution and achieve security and stability in Yemen.
Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz expressed the Kingdom's appreciation for the stance of the international community and the United States of America, refusing to undermine the security of the Kingdom and standing against the hostile practices of the Iran-backed Houthi militia in targeting cities and civilians, and its continuing attacks on Marib and the rest of the Yemeni governorates.
