Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, has met here with Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary General for Yemen Martin Griffiths, to discuss latest developments in Yemen. During the meeting, they stressed the Kingdom's support for the United Nations efforts to reach a political solution in Yemen, its keenness to provide support and assistance for the Yemeni people, renewing the Kingdom's firm stance towards supporting Yemen and its people, its efforts and commitment to support the legitimacy of Yemen to ensure the return of security and stability to Yemen and to maintain its sovereignty and unity, and praising in this regard the outstanding humanitarian support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its constant keenness on delivering humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people. They also discussed latest peace developments and the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement, as well as the actions of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to thwart peace efforts in Yemen.
