Riyadh Region's Police: Security Authorities Identify Filipino Perpetrator in Short Time, Arrest Him after He Seized Amount of Money from Bank under Threat of Fake Weapon

The media spokesperson at Riyadh Region's Police, Maj. Khalid Al-Kreidis, stated that the security authorities have assumed the investigation of crime of robbery at gunpoint in a bank branch in the city of Riyadh, during which the perpetrator was managed to seize an amount of (SAR 25,500) after threatening the bank employee to harm a customer with a gun. The security follow-up led to identifying the perpetrator in a short time and arresting him, a resident of Filipino nationality in his third decade of life. The weapon used in the crime was a mock pistol.
He was arrested and all initial legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the Public Prosecution, police spokesperson added.
