Nine feared drowned after river ferry sinks in Bangladesh

Nine people were missing and feared drowned Saturday after a river ferry transporting vehicles sank in southern Bangladesh, officials said.
The accident happened in the Kirtonkhola river near Barisal city, 220 kilometres south of the capital Dhaka.
Coast guard divers and firemen were searching for survivors.
