In its first inception, the Uzbek city of Bukhara hosted here today workings of the Saudi-Uzbek Investment Forum, under the co-auspices of Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh and the Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov. The event witnessed participation of various businessmen and representatives of both governmental as well as private sectors, in the two countries. Al-Faleh, in his opening speech delivered during the forum, conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to the leadership and the people of the fraternal Republic of Uzbekistan. He reaffirmed the keenness of the Saudi wise leadership on cementing bilateral relations with Uzbekistan, in all political, economic, religious and cultural fields. We are looking forward, he added, to promote the bilateral partnership binding our two countries, in order to realize the anticipations of our two leaderships and level up to the ties linking the two peoples, asserting that big ambitions are lying ahead. As officials from the two sides, we shall exert our utmost endeavors to materialize them, through empowering the private sector's companies, facilitating business performance and overcoming entire challenges and hindrances that may hamper moving forward, he elaborated.
