Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper reported its editorial that His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, confirmed during his participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF), in presence of 160 leading and pioneering figures representing 36 countries, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has played vital role in promoting development and supporting the stability of the region, preserving the energy market supplies, working to establish security and peace, as well as enhancing economic cooperation with partners and friends in the business community, in addition to participation with them in major investment opportunities and new projects in the Kingdom within programs, set in its vision 2030. In this context, the Cabinet expressed in its last session, held virtually, and chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, its pride in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's achievements in the area of transformation and accelerating reforms since the launching of its vision 2030, the paper added. These achievements included doubling non-oil revenues, empowering women in the labor market, raising the level of competitiveness in business, along with activating the role of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), as well as the significant improvement has been made in protecting the environment, in addition to the Kingdom's initiative approved by the G20 Leaders Summit in 2020 regarding the circular carbon economy, the paper further added. This unprecedented achievements has been made due to the great efforts being exerted by the leadership in the Kingdom to enhance the national development process, anticipate future needs and enhance the sources of income and its diversity, the paper concluded.
