Jordan Government has welcomed the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement by the Yemeni Government and the Southern Transitional Council, in addition to the announcement of the government formation ending military arrangements. The spokesman for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, expressed Jordan's appreciation for the efforts of all parties, particularly, efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that lead to the implementation of the agreement. Al-Fayez wished that this step would contribute to reaching a complete settlement that ends the Yemeni crisis, achieves security, stability and peace, and meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people for progress and prosperity.
