The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection foretasted the weather for today as thunderstorms accompanied by active surface winds on the regions of Jazan, Asir, Baha and Makkah, as well as parts of the regions of Riyadh, Eastern Region, Qassim, Hail and Madinah. In its report, the Authority stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is northwesterly to northerly on the central and north parts and southeasterly to southwesterly on the southern part at speed of 16-40 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is westerly to northwesterly at speed of 14-36 km/h.
