Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh led the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the 14th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) speakers of shura, representatives, national and Umma councils, which has been virtually hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef bin Falah Al-Hajraf, also took part in the meeting. At the outset, they extended felicitation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince, on the outcomes and success of Saudi Arabia's presidency of the G20, pointing the pivotal and pioneer role it has been playing at the regional as well as the world levels and expressing pride in the Kingdom's performance, during the summit of the G20 which virtually concluded in Riyadh yesterday. They also discussed issues on their meeting's agenda and delegated the Bahraini House of Representatives to coordinate with other members to hold a joint meeting with the European parliament, in addition to other issues reviewed. Also discussed were emergency laws relating to fighting the Coronavirus pandemic, in order to limit its fallouts on the small as well as medium enterprises.
