The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection foretasted the weather for today as moderate and torrential thunderstorms accompanied by active surface winds on of region of Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim and Eastern , while thunderstorms on some parts of Jazan, Asir and Baha regions.
In its report, the Authority stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is southwesterly to southeasterly on southern parts and northeasterly to northerly on central and northern parts at speed of 15-42 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is easterly to southeasterly at speed of 15-38 km/h.
