The Grand Mosque today received the first batch of Umrah performers coming from outside the Kingdom as part of the third phase of gradual resumption of Umrah and group prayers, amounting to 20,000 Umrah performers and 60,000 worshipers per day, amid the application of a series of preventive measures to ensure safety against coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has completed its readiness to serve the Umrah performers from different parts of the world, while taking the necessary health precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in order to preserve human health, as it mobilized all its capabilities to serve Umrah performers in a safe and healthy atmosphere, while raising the precautionary operational capacity by 100%.
