Ministers of foreign affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states held 1st virtual meeting with the Indian Minister of External Affairs Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. The meeting was held, under the chairmanship of the United Arab Emirates' Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, the current president of the GCC Ministerial Council, with participation of Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, the Secretary General of the GCC Dr. Naif bin Falah Al-Hajraf and other GCC member states' delegation. During the meeting, they discussed means for consolidating joint cooperation relations between the GCC member states and Republic of India, in all domains, in the best of ways to serve mutual interests, in addition to review political and security-wise situations, in the region, as well as other issues of common interest and endeavors exerted by the two sides against Coronavirus pandemic and its economic fallouts.
