Al-Riyadh, Al-Yaum and Al-Bilad newspapers reported in their editorials that the Cabinet approved allocating SR 500,000 for the families of health practitioners who lost their life due to COVID-19 in government or private sectors, whether civil or military and Saudi or none Saudi. The papers added that this unprecedented step reflects Saudi Arabia's concern and its humanitarian dealing with everyone, whether citizens or residents without exception. The papers further said that through intensive precautionary and preventive health measures, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has made great and unprecedented progress in combating COVID-19 Pandemic. The Kingdom succeeded in reducing the number of confirmed cases after the leadership's support for the health sector, and the awareness of everyone and their commitment to preventive measures. The Kingdom also ranked 25th in the world, second in the Middle East, and first in the Arab world in issuing scientific papers related to the virus, the papers concluded.
