The Saudi lawyers team, assigned to deal with the Saudi detainees in Guantanamo, is strenuously and closely following up the case, given the legal considerations based on the U.S. Supreme Court rule that the U.S. normal judiciary should be applied on all Guantanamo detainees. In a press statement, the team said good relations between the U.S. and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia would hopefully lead to the release of several detainees following suit of the case of some detainees from other nationalities. Otherwise, legal proper measures could be taken, the team said.
