Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Ghait discussed today with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi the latest developments related to the Palestinian situation amid recent changes at the regional and international arenas. In a press release, Abdul Ghait confirmed that the current stage necessitates exerting strenuous efforts at the Arab and international arenas for preserving the basics and pillars of the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian cause which is witnessing a serious change within the two-state solution according to the international legitimacy and resolutions of the UN security council. Abul Ghait also affirmed that the establishment of the Palestinian state along the 4rth of June parallel with eastern Al-Quds as capital remains the goal that enjoys an international approval in addition to complete Arab consensus.
