Governor of General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) Eng. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi headed delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participating in the 7th Meeting of Committee of Heads and Directors of Tax Administrations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, which was organized virtually by the GCC Secretariat General, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation to implement the two unified agreements for value added tax (VAT) and selective tax in the GCC states, in a way that contributes to facilitating trade exchange among the GCC member states. The GAZT Governor said that meeting discussed a number of issues regarding strengthening the GCC cooperation and developing mechanisms for exchanging information among the competent tax authorities, in a way that contributes to supporting economic integration tools among the GCC member states.
