Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is providing great attention the rights of Saudi women, as a citizen partner in the renaissance and development of the homeland. The paper added that Saudi women are currently living an exceptional phase at all levels, citing the statement of the Director General of the International Monetary Fund , who has praised the Saudi Arabia's progress in employing women. In another context, Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seen as one of the largest donor countries in supporting international humanitarian efforts. The paper added that Saudi Arabia affirmed in its statement before the Executive Council session of UN High Commissioner for Refugees its keenness on supporting the efforts of UNHCR worldwide. The paper further added that Saudi Arabia, through its presidency of G20 and its cooperation with international organizations, is seeking to achieve more advanced successes to limit the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, mitigate its impact and improve the level of international preparedness to prevent any similar future crises. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is providing a lot of various humanitarian aid for a number of affected countries in the world.
