Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia's National Industry and Logistics Services Witness Great Progress

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 targets, through its National Industry Development and Logistics Program, to transform Saudi Arabia into a leading industrial power and an international logistical platform in a number of promising areas.
The paper pointed out that the development of national industry and logistic services will contribute to create job opportunities for national cadres, enhancing the trade balance and maximizing local content.
The paper added that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pays great attention to the transport and logistics sector to take advantage of the strategic location of its lands, moving forward to become a global logistics center. The paper refers to the development and modernization of Saudi ports that using great capabilities, giant ships and containers.
The paper concluded by pointing to the announcement of Saudi Ports Authority of starting operation of the largest contract in Saudi Arabia, which was signed last April, 2020, with investments value exceeded SAR 7 billion.
Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is exerting efforts in preserving, empowering and protecting human rights since its founding stages until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The paper said that the President of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Awad bin Saleh Al-Awad has confirmed, during his inauguration of a workshop entitled "The Rights of the Accused Persons and the Victim", that the leadership pays great interest in human rights in general and criminal justice in particular, emphasizing that the Human Rights Commission is keen to apply all human rights standards with regard to criminal justice, in a manner that preserves the right of accused persons and victim in all stages of "arrest, inspection, investigation, trial and execution."
The paper pointed to the statement of the President of the Human Rights Commission who is confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia made initiatives, during its presidency of the G20, and supported all the foundations concerned with the protection of human rights.
