Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher, at 8257.67 Points

Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, losing 79.91 points to close, at 8257.67 points.
The total value of the trading reported was over SR11 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 505 million, divided into over 471,000 deals.
While the stocks of 134 companies ended the trading higher, 55 companies' shares slumped.
In terms of the percentage spread between the highest and the lowest stocks, it ranged from 09.96% to 04.00%.
For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day losing 264.72 points, to close, at 14,212.64 points, with a valuation of more than SR38 million and an overall tally of more than 578,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,186 deals.
