CEO of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Dainah has affirmed Bahrain's support for the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi and Yemen to avoid an environmental catastrophe in the Red Sea region. This came during the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs, which was held virtually regarding the Safer oil tanker anchored off the coast of Hodeidah governorate in western Yemen. During the meeting, he praised the efforts of the Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Environment of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden in technically assessing the environmental situation and monitoring the necessary mechanisms to avoid any damage that may result from the dangers affecting the Safer oil tanker.
