Maktoum Prize

Riyadh-based King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center has been awarded the prize of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum in the field of medical services in recognition of its distinguished medical role.
This was announced at the press conference held by the Prize's Secretariat General here in Dubai on Saturday.
Expressing happiness for this development, Dr Kassem Al-Qasbi, the Executive Director General of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, confirmed that the Hospital would continue to extend the best possible medical services to the citizens.
The hospital, inaugurated in 1975, has been provided with the most sophisticated medical equipment.
The Tumors Center at the Hospital is considered as one of the best international centers in the field of treatment of tumours.
