Bahraini Shura Council expressed disapproval and condemnation of the terrorist aggressions and continuous targeting by the Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthi militias of Abha International Airport, yesterday, through a bomb-laden drone. The council reasserted, in a statement announced here today, that the repeated aggressions of the Yemeni Houthi militias are violation and transgression of the Humanitarian International Law and international norms and charters. In addition, such a terrorist and coward act poses flagrant threat to the civilians' life, in a quest aiming at destruction of civil facilities and compromising the security as well as the stability of the region, the statement pointed out. It also reiterated Kingdom of Bahrain unwavering support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing exerted efforts to maintain its security and sovereignty, in addition to its pivotal role in confronting and fighting all attempts and aggressions aiming at threatening stability, security and lives of peaceful civilians. The Kingdom of Bahrain, according to the statement, fully backs all harsh and deterring measures and steps taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against all aggressive acts and terrorist attempts, with objectives to demise its plans and strategies to achieve development and advancement, under its wise leadership.
