Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arena. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seen as the largest and most influential country in the region due to its prominent political, economic and religious position. The editorial further said that Saudi Arabia has based in its policy on firm principles such as good neighborhood, none interference in the internal affairs of the other countries and enhancing the relations with brotherly and friendly countries for serving the common issues and interests. Saudi Arabia has paid great attention to Arab joint action for achieving convergent views, as it has affirmed, along with Iraq the importance of achieving Arab solidarity, consultations and coordination, unifying positions and harnessing all capabilities and resources for serving the two brotherly peoples, the editorial added. It affirmed that the visit of the Saudi Foreign Minister to Baghdad is a valuable opportunity for Iraq to find solutions to its economic, development, security and investment problems. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is exerting unprecedented humanitarian efforts towards the refugees and affected people around the world through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). The paper added that Saudi Arabia has provided tens of billions of dollars to several countries around the world and implemented thousands of projects, in cooperation with international partners. The paper concluded that the amount of aid provided by Saudi Arabia to the refugees added up to 139 billion dollars over 4 decades.
