Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Iranian arm so-called Hezbollah Militia receives orders and support from the regime in Tehran in order to commit more crimes and achieve Iran's agendas in the region. The paper said that this terrorist group has committed the most heinous crimes in Lebanon and destabilized its security and stability. The paper added that these terrorist acts have negatively impacted the situation in Lebanon with all its political, social, economic and humanitarian aspects. The paper pointed to the verdict hearing in the case of the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Al-Hariri that stated that a member of the militant group Hezbollah is guilty of involvement in the assassination. The paper concluded that the international community must take a unified and firm international position to deter these Iranian terrorist practices in the region and the world. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its presidency of G20 is exerting unprecedented efforts towards the accumulated global issues and the others resulting from the outbreak of novel coronavirus pandemic. The paper added that Saudi Arabia is seriously working to enhance the international effort at all economic and health levels for ensuring sustainability and safety of food and medical supplies during these difficult and complex global conditions. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia‘s efforts succeeded in achieving convergent international views through the G20 Extraordinary Summit presided over by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
