Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Always Fights Corruption and Promotes Security
Published in Saudi Press Agency on 23 - 08 - 2020

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is rebuilding its solid foundations, from which it will reach a broad horizons of economic and social growth and prosperity.
The newspaper added that when Saudi Arabia's leadership and people have announced the beginning of war against corruption and did not announce a date for its end, Saudi Arabia was confirming to everyone inside and outside of Saudi Arabia that this war is continuing to deter anyone who tampers with public money and prejudices to the interests of citizens.
It also added that the war against corruption led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was not a traditional or media consumption, but rather a systematic war that had higher goals, ideal business strategy, and had its own tools.
Today, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is reaping the results of the war against corruption, by improving its position in the international rankings related to integrity, transparency, in addition to reform and fighting corruption, and tomorrow Saudi Arabia will reap more results in the form of huge internal and external investments, looking for the opportunity to work in the Kingdom and invest in a healthy environment for growth and expansion, the newspaper concluded.
In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire in Libya announced by the Presidential Council and the House of Representatives, and its affirmation of the need to start an internal political dialogue places Libyan national interest above all considerations, in order to establish a permanent solution that guarantees security and stability for the Libyan people. It is also an announcement that reflects the importance of the related event in the Libyan affair and its implications for regional security, which was also welcomed by several countries and organizations, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) of Arab States.
The welcome announcement of Saudi Arabia represents the roles that it plays to promote security, as it is also seeking a comprehensive and radical peace solution in Yemen, and its efforts are praised and welcomed on the international level, which is related to international security and achieves the Kingdom's leadership in peace efforts in the Middle East.
