Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Minister of Defense, here today received Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, Sultan Al-Barakani, members of the Presidency of the Parliament, and advisers to the President of the Republic of Yemen. They expressed thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the Kingdom for the care and attention it attaches to Yemen and support for its legitimate government and the Yemeni people, and for the good initiatives it has taken, the most recent of which were the efforts led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to accomplish the Riyadh agreement and introduce the executive mechanism to accelerate its implementation. For his part, the Deputy Minister of Defense expressed the Kingdom's appreciation for the positive role played by the President of the Republic of Yemen, his government and the Southern Transitional Council and the constructive and productive role played by the Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, members of the Presidency of the Parliament, and advisers to the President of the Republic of Yemen to support the efforts that led to reaching the mechanism to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement and start implementing it, hoping that the commitment to what was agreed upon will be adhered to, stressing that their response was their realization of the national responsibility that we feel and value for them. The deputy minister said, "The directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and his continuous follow-up stems from the keenness of the Kingdom's leadership on the brotherly Yemeni people and their government and their support in all fields."
