Here's what a pilgrim should do on the tenth day of the month of Zulhijja. At dawn of that day, following arrival in Mina valley coming from Muzdalifa, the pilgrim is set to head for the location of the grand Jamarat Al-Aqabah to throw seven successive pebbles while exclaiming Allah is great, then he sacrifices an animal, eats part of it and donates some to the poor, and shaves or shortens his/her hair. Following the stone throwing ritual, a pilgrim will enjoy the right to remove his Ihram, replace it with his ordinary clothes and practice all the prohibits except sex. Then, pilgrims move to the Holy Mosque in Makkah for circumambulation of Tawaf of Ifadah, a key Hajj pillar. Following the Tawaf, it is permissible for the pilgrim to feel free of all restrictions of Ihram, before returning to Mina, to stay the next two to three days.
