AlHijjah 9, 1433, Oct 25, 2012, SPA -- On the third day of the pilgrimage (Tenth of Dhu-AlHijjah), the pilgrims move to Mina, where they throw their seven stone pebbles at the pillar of Al-'Aqabah (largest Jamarat). After casting the pebbles, most pilgrims slaughter an animal (often a sheep or a goat) and give away the meat to the poor. After that, male pilgrims shave their heads and female pilgrims cut from the ends of the hair the length of a finger tip. Throughout the world, Muslims celebrate Eid Al-Adha on this day.
