The Official Spokesperson of Hajj Security Forces Command stated that as a reference to the royal order to approve the provisions and penalties for violating preventive and precautionary measures being taken to address the novel coronavirus pandemic, and what was previously announced on the instructions for ensuring compliance with the precautionary and preventive measures taken to confront the pandemic during this year's Hajj season 1441 AH (2020), in addition to what was decided to organize Hajj in limited numbers in order to achieve the purposes of Islamic law in protecting the humans and applying penalties on whoever violates the instructions of preventing entry to the Grand Holy Mosque and holy sites without permission as of the end of the 8th day of Dhul-Hijjah, (936) violators were apprehended after violating the entry instructions to the holy sites and legal measures were taken against them. The Spokesman called on all citizens and residents to abide by Hajj instructions, stressing that the security forces impose a tight security cordon around the holy sites to implement the instructions and apprehend the violators.
