Health Ministry: 2,779 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 1,742 Recoveries Reported, in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Health said in a statement here today that 2,779 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 232,259 cases, including 62,898 active cases undergoing treatment.
Of these, there are 2,245 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.
The Ministry of Health also said that 42 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities at 2,223.
On the other hand, as many as 1,742 cases have recovered, raising the total recoveries to 167,138.
