Jeddah Governorate announced here today earmarking SR229 million for a project to revamp the waterfront, along 2.8 km, in order to develop over 180,000 square meters, within the project. The project falls in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 and Cities Humanization Initiative, aiming at improving living quality, in the governorate and raising the average per capita share, in terms of green spaces and parks' venues. Implementing development is projected to last for 30-month, as roads shall be re-paved, squares, pedestrians and cyclists' corridors will be made, in addition to new green spaces, planting miscellaneous trees, playing grounds, fountains, cutouts and various services, displaying smart items as well as sandy beaches for swimmers and investment sites.
