Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues, at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in four-day high-level global forum, that deals with the goals of sustainable development. The paper said that Saudi Arabia's participation comes within its efforts to continue the process of achieving the sustainable development goals of its vision 2030. The paper pointed out that Saudi Arabia's active presence at the international level reflects its role and responsibilities, as well as its eagerness to enhance the cooperation of the international community in achieving common goals. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia has contributed globally in assisting disaster-affected countries and continued to support for international organizations, especially during Corona pandemic. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that "NEOM" company announced yesterday signing of an agreement for a $5 billion world-scale green hydrogen-based ammonia production facility powered by renewable energy. The paper said that the project will be sited in NEOM as a new model for sustainable living and will produce green ammonia for export to global markets. The paper added that this project will also provide sustainable solutions for the global transportation sector, that will meet the challenges of climate change through practical solutions to reduce carbon emissions.
