Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues, at local, regional, and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia spares no effort in serving Muslims whatever circumstances. The paper said that in the light of outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic, Saudi Arabia decided to grant 70% of this year's pilgrim ratio for non-Saudi residents, while Saudis making up the remaining 30%. The paper confirmed that Saudi Arabia's policy was based on the concept of brotherhood and giving the Arab and Muslim residents its utmost attention. The paper concluded by pointing out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia uses all its security and health capabilities to serve the guests of Allah and provide them with necessary needs and facilitates amid full commitment to the preventive precautions. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that within the developments of the return of global tourism and overcoming the novel Coronavirus pandemic, Saudi Arabia has set plans and programs for this vital sector in accordance with the preventive protocols. The paper added that this sector is seen as one of the key factors of the economic transformation program in diversifying the sources of public income and sustainable development and providing job opportunities for hundreds of thousands of sons and daughters of homeland. The paper concluded that the Saudi government has supported the tourism development fund with SAR 15 billion, in order offer more investment opportunities at global level.
