The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) took part in the workings of the 209th session of the Executive Council of the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), as its opening has begun here on Thursday. The Kingdom participation falls in line with ongoing strenuous efforts exerted by Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Minister of Culture and President of the National Committee for Education, Science and Culture. Saudi delegation to the session was led by Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz Al Meqren, the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to UNESCO, and was comprising 26 Saudi male and female experts, representing all relevant sectors, in the Kingdom.
